>>11118334i wish we had old anons here. old people are great at living with seeing all their friends and family die. they come to grips with mortality and even the horrible sequence of events that leads to them going into the hospital for the last time. old people know this stuff and the ones who i know/knew were pretty stoic about the whole process.
i know at least one person who is in their 90s and has a very based outlook on life and has a very real outlook on things whenever they go to the hospital (considering all the young people they know assume the worst, and they prove them entirely wrong over and over). old people know mortality and have a very jaded and sober look on the topic. many of them just don't give a flying fuck and accept that things are shit for them and they are doomed aside from some slim possibilities. i am trying to adopt this outlook even though i'm 30. i want to be at peace with mortality and the fact that in all likelihood everything i know and love will die before i do
