/lit/ Despite reading a lot of books, as evidenced by their bookshelf threads they trap themselves into their favorite school of thoughts rarely encouraging themselves to explore philosophy as a whole as it should be. The kiddos there think they can resume the world in absolutes like Nihilism and Theology and not getting their shit called on. Also, the amount of "Does God exist" threads is abhorrent.
/sci/ Here you'll find your expected shipost with a scientific twist. This, however, does not undermine the actual knowledge of its users of science.
There are users with knowledge enough to debunk /pol/shit on the fly(even though they are seldom heard) and the "Existence of god" threads are some of the smartest I've have expected on the internet by simply not acknowledging the Christian ideal of god as a basis of discussion and bringing up other unprovable paradoxes such as the simulation hypothesis as a reason as to why we shouldn't care about this topic so much.
The problems of /sci/ can be resumed to 2: Falling into a biased point of view by defending their field at all costs while disregarding others, as evidenced by the math vs engineering vs CS threads and disregarding softer forms of knowledge even within science itself i.e Social sciences and biology.
Other boards aren't intelectually based.
