Why do we still put fluoride in water?

The same shit that essentially dissolves your bones is somehow supposed to prevent cavities?

Flouride creates apatite on your teeth, an extremely hard shield against pretty much anything. It doesn't do anything for your teeth directly other than protecting them from bacteria poop for a short time.
The thing is, some physicist found out that this protective layer is completely gone after chewing for two seconds. So yeah, I agree, flouride is a joke.

Since it's a biproduct of many chemical farms, they shill its properties to be good so they can sell it instead of having to pay for having it thrown away.
