If i had to buy a telescope now, i would get:
D=60mm-ish refractor with sturdy phototripod and fluid video head. 90° diagonal for stargazing, 45° erecting prism for bird/airplane spotting. One zoom eyepiece for moon/planet viewing and one fidefield eyepiece for bird/plane/star field viewing.
Light pollution is not an obstacle when viewing planets and this kind of rig serves well for daytime use as well.
This of course can cost about 1k€ and upwards. I’d start with cheaper achromat refractor with AZ mount like in the OP’s picture. There is no upper limit in the cost of higher end refractors.
If there is no light pollution, i’d get D=200mm f/8 newtonian, preferably with dobson mount.
