Jesus had supportive parents, so he thought about God as good(just saying if you would think about the Old Testament as a contradiction to my thesis). So yeah, you just need need to repeat something enough time until you like it, but be conscious that you will end up with some subconscious leftovers that will affect you.
Another thing I know is that it take you usually 21 days to develop a stable habit, and 90 days to undevelop it. Saw this on an old video of a ukrainian standup comedian, so take it with a grain of salt.
From my experience you just develop this feeling of habit that, even if the thing doesn't get more pleasant, it become simpler to do it, just make it a habit.
