CS is a trade school "major" to pump out pajeets that will code the front end of new X social media app.
And yet somehow Data Science is worse. At least some CS students can attempt a real major by taking courses in algorithms. Data Science as a field can be summarized in 2 books from the past 10 years or single chapters in graduate statistics textbooks from the 70s.
