I think towards the latter of the book he talks about a general theory of replicators thats fascinating.
I think the book convinces me that natural selection is a special case of overall selection.
If it can exist and replicate then it will. If it cant exist and replicate than it wont.
And thus applies to all manners of objects as well as carbon based life.
