Yes, we are getting dumber. Mechanisms like sexual and natural selection only slow down degredation that inevitably happens faster than any positive or advantageous brain mutation ever could. Undirected mutation cannot produce a protein in the lifespan of earth, much less harder, better, faster, stronger brains. Think about the greatest philosophers of all time; there is a reason they lived 100s and most 1,000s of years ago, and look at how fucking retarded everyone is today.
