Why does /sci/ say that CS isn't math or science? I have a lot of math and science in my curriculum.

Not sure if bait. Grad level CS is ok, it's just that a vast majority of undergrad CS programs are just glorified code monkey factories with a few baby calculus courses thrown in. And most CS students are annoying weebs (see /g/).

Is this a bachelor degree? I know you are trying to be ironical here but this is surprising because the CS program at my uni actually requires more math. You need to take the basic bitch cal 1 and 2, but you also need linear algebra and discrete math in first year and statistics in second year. I think there might be more that I am missing. It's not much but it's actually more than what you are learning based on that list.

My uni is similar. Requires combinatorics, calculus, stats, and linear algebra. And then 9 credits in electives of 400 level math or CS. Most people tale whatever easy gimmicky shit is out there, but if you elect to you can take a really rigorous program.

Most public schools require at least some gen ed (english, etc) for STEM majors. They also require at least some STEM for liberal arts majors.

I also didn't include the 4 programming courses I'm taking since they're a cakewalk (Java/C#) or the programming course I tested out of (akin to your Intro to Programming course)

Just double major lol. It’s a very natural choice / degree and you’re only better for it. I got to take grad courses in analysis, graph theory, analytic number theory, and algebraic topology by my senior year in undergrad, and it’s become invaluable in CS grad
