Can anyone recommend me a good introductory book on discrete math and/or combinatorics? Most stuff I've been able to find seem to be focused on CompSci students, but I need one that's just focused on the math.
Grimaldi's book (Pic related) originally seemed like a good candidate, since it covers what I need it to, that is, basic combinatorics, inclusion-exclusion, generating functions, recurrence, and some algebra + graph theory. However, I find it _extremely_ wordy. He goes on, and on, and on with example after example. I also sincerely doubts he needs a 1000 pages for what he's doing. It feels like the quintessential American textbook. I'm looking for something more concise, along the more traditional "definition-theorem-proof-discussion" lines.
