Advice, or something

What's up /sci/.

I'm a 3rd year physics student. I just walked out of my upper-div mechanics midterm with an overwhelming feeling of "oh fuck, I hate this shit". I appreciate the problem solving, I appreciate the analytical process that it teaches you, I just can't see myself doing this any more.

What do I do? I feel like I've been wearing this hat with a physics sticker slapped on it so long that it's rotted on the top of my fucking head and I just can't bring myself to do anything about it.

I've been doing this for so long, and I've kept up this lie to myself, my friends, and my family. I'm not doing badly, I'm doing well enough, but god damn it I can't stand this shit anymore.

I want to drop out. I want to find something else. But I've so committed to this shit-show of a life plan that I don't know what I'd do without it. I don't know what to say to anyone at all about it, because I think that I know the answer is just "Put your head down, and finish the degree." But I think it would kill me.

Has anyone else felt this way?
