This might actually explain why people with severe depression suddenly die. As the depression worsens, so does the inflammation. Eventually it'd go from "mild" to "normal" and Encephalitis at this grade is lethal.

Interesting study however sad that they didn't take a broaxer happiness study, took in more factors and done a pathway analysis. I didn't download the paper yet though but does it include statistical power? At 6870 N everything is significant.
