Gee, it's almost like there's a pretty relevant difference between these two scenarios.
Which brings up another question I have. Why do engineering profs always force you into group projects, usually not even letting you pick your groups, and say "engineering is about working together, and you don't always get to choose who you work with" but when there's a test, it's "what the fuck do you think this is? engineers don't work together, you have to do it by yourself"
