I have a 4 digit IQ. Math became useful, and fun. I count cards at casinos. I learned to play the piano and speak italian in 4 days. My brokerage account contains over 2 million dollars.

Investment is for the long term. It doesn't matter how smart you are, day trading is for gamblers. If you want to make money with your math, there are plenty of things nobody is doing because not enough people are smart enough. Start a business, you will make a lot more money a lot faster than any investing bullshit, save for rare events like crypto and bubbles popping. But you have to have a lot of money in the first place any way.

Do not get caught up in some magic system or formula.

Consider carefully: Who is buying and selling and why? This question is extremely important.
Another thing: Stocks/options are based on the real world. A stock is going to trade differently on a normal day, compared to when all their factories are blown up by terrorists. You probably need to adapt your strategy.
Let's say that you see some fucking curve cross some other curve, and some book tells you that means you should buy. Ask yourself: why? What does it mean that this curve crosses this other curve? Who would I be buying from? Why are they selling when this book says they should buy? Are they retards? Am I missing something?
