>>11105683Semi-autism can be thought of as like the above, but the degree to which their neurological system is compromised is lesser than full autists, to the extent that they learn and function in society independently, albeit with some difficulty. Asperger's would comprise most of this group. I should note that in this category, social and environmental factors play a huge role in the development or treatment of these symptoms, but they can be improved upon although at a greater cost, to the point where those who were diagnosed with Asperger's as a child no longer meet the criteria as an adult. As for socializing, I don't think it can be the sole cause of autism, but it can play a big role in how semi-autism is managed and treated and if done poorly will exacerbate the problem instead of treating it. Some people in this category can improve to the point where they can be considered non-autists.
Non-autists, from a genetic point of view, can hypothetically still develop more autistic-like behaviors due to pharmacological factors in early childhood, and perhaps even from a sociological perspective, but I mainly include this group for logical consistency across the spectrum, as people diagnosed with semi-autism/Asperger's can eventually improve to the point where they no longer meet the diagnostic criteria for autism, and vica versa.
And finally, I believe most people who use the term "autist" on 4chan don't actually know what it is and only use the term as a meme for any kind of non-normative behavior worth pointing and laughing at for being different or not liking what they like. So don't mind those faggots, they are a bunch of autists.
