However engineering students often think their surface level observations from class substitute deep insight - the reality is that the engineering curriculum rushes 6 topics a semester rather than taking time to develop 4 topics since its goal is to not be held responsible when your employer asks why you don’t know how to a specific application specific task that uses theory X.
tldr engineering is fine but engineering isnt the end all be all of stem
