Bullshit. There are a fair number of wild edibles that are reasonable for hobbiests to pick and eat. Morels, Agaricus, lion's mane, and puffballs come to mind.

you have to at least state a disclaimer in case someone kills themselves eating a death angel. obviously things like lion's mane are unmistakable but OP's images look like some fairly common types being not necessarily very distinct. Never seen a lion's mane in the wild in New England

Considering the amount of retards on /out/ who pick and eat random ass mushrooms (many of which are poisonous), it makes sense for OP to do a disclaimer. You're right tho, there are a shit ton of distinct edibles with little to no look alikes. Just the other day I found a chicken of the woods while walking home from campus.
