>>11098986For an EE there's plenty of topics that can get as complicated as you want them to be, for example:
>Control systemsVery, very math heavy, basically DEs on steroids applied to real systems, tons and tons of complex calc involved, tons of linear algebra involved, basically the most fun class in EE aside from signal analysis.
>Signal analysisAgain, very math heavy in similar ways to control systems, but main tool used here is Fouriers tranform instead of laplace's transform.
>TelecomsSimilar to signal analysis, but a lot of shit about waves and a ton of electrodynamics involved, very fun too
>Electrical machineryThe physics involved in this topic can get otherworldly complicated, theres so many aspects to machinery that you wouldn't even believe, a lot of difficult phasor analysis, vector calc and DEs involved. Theres also a shit ton of material, my clases would take upwards of 4 hours twice a week. In this topic in particular, if your professor really wants to fuck you in the ass, he will, and there's very little you can do about it. Pretty cool labs btw.
