Consider the following:

We're in an endless loop of being reincarnated into another universe, with a diffetent life - not at all conscious of the life we lived previously.

In other words - if we're alive in this universe/reality with no prior knowledge of before we were born, perhaps the same phenomenon will be duplicated.
