Yes, the distance between your eyeballs is something, the hierarchy between you and your dad is something. And configuration is "something".
Is energy something?
If you now take the route of physical realism and postulate that quantum fields are more than a model describing phenomena - but instead you say they are "real", then you may think of everything in terms of field excitations I guess. But that's a big leap.

Entropy in theory can be associated with energy
Time can be counted in time pass on items wich means matter and energy is in work here
volume=matter that is in items ect
length=matter
acceleration=energy(tricky one, but there is use of energy in it, but i ' m not sure of it)

i did not know if he mean volume or sound, which they are 2 different things which volume can be understand as length and mass that ocupade some space which is matter, and sound can be mesured with energy
