How do patents work,
Like can I patent "solar panel with 8000% efficiency " by just imagining it, or do I need to actually have a working 8000% efficiency solar panel?

Do patents mean anything? Or does having a patent for something just mean you imagined it?

If patents are real where can I buy room temperature semi conductors, because the first person so create a room temp semiconductor gets a nobel prize, so if Tom delonge hasn't applied for one yet I'll gladly split the prize money with him.

Or are patents just basically an autist festival where you you yell out ideas you have?

If the US Navy backs the inventors claim of the patent being functional, you can assume that it is indeed functional.

I filed a patent myself and If you don't explain in understandable terms how your invention works within the boundaries of current physics and technological development, you don't get it granted. The Navy patents surely describe the outer edge of these boundaries.

It does mean that only the owner of the patent has the right to commercially use it for as long as he pays for it being maintained.

Certain technologies are being seized and locked away because of their disruptive potential. People who continue to push them suffer unfortunate accidents.

The Navy most likely noticed that the civilian sector came close to patent the stuff and pushed to be first to delay the release of the technology for a few years.

Yes it is, it's astounding, especially when they go into detail about studying said objects that enter areas of military operations unmolested and are unable to be unidentified at all, then do shit like jump from 80,000ft to sea level instantly.

Where scientific discovery begins is through observation, one might think "there are these objects that zip around the air from one point to another in the blink of an eye and toy with our most advanced fighters AND operating outside of known laws of physics, isn't that the most fascinating thing?" And THEN with further study we can finally find what phenomenon is causing this, it could be aliens.. it could be the fucking chinese, and it could be ball of lighting, or it could be some other atmospheric phenomenon we haven't even discovered yet, once again, doesn't this warrant further investigation space aliens or not?

Guys I have a theory on what's happening,
This is some kind of bizzare last ditch effort by the government to distract us from the normal stuff they are doing, like destroying the economy etc and all that stuff with trump like the sex crimes and impeachment,
