The closest an argument for religion has come to being rational is Pascal's wager, and it is based on an appeal to emotion, and a false premise, since it doesn't account for equal likelyhood that it might all a trick and the infidels actually go to heaven.
If you can actually give a rational argument for why a religion is true (i.e. that a god exists) then go ahead. If not, then go back to fucking young boys.
