Statistics problem.

Hey, people of 4chan.
During my statistics course at university, I was given the above problem to solve. It seemed to be a simple two-tailed t-test of means. Where I would be comparing the mean of car prices with the mean deducted from the given equation. The issue is that in a given dataset, we didn't receive the "average from 10 car sellers" but the midrange,which is maximum and minimum price averaged. So my question is if the hypothesis test for midranges exists, and if yes,how to conduct it. Thank You in advance !
