Good here is relative, it depends of the goal we consider.

Calculus is the most basic college-level math, and widely used in most academic field both stem and humanities.

People in humanities and some stem disciplines (like biology), while they need to use basic math, I think it's a waste of time to learn the construction of calculus with the formality of a math student. The same applies to some careers in engineering.

I think Stewart it's fine to those learning applied calculus. The exercises are many and repetitive, but a teacher usually will assign a few of them and students can work others if they need extra practice.

Students of mathematics will not find it very helpful since the exercises are not very proof-oriented which is the main training math students need to acquire. Spivak or Apostol are the classic texts here.
