Humanity converges more and more towards logical standardization over time. C is starting to become the standardized low level programming language. Python is starting to become the standardized interpreter language.
Arabic base 10 numerals are becoming the standard number system of humanity.
Metric the protocol standards of physics and eventually Tau is going to creep in. Better systems over time trample and replace inferior systems.
Which is most likely why we will all speak or at least write Chinese in the future. As someone that speaks and write chinese the writing system is superior to phonetic writing like the latin alphabet because the Chinese hanzi logos convey meaning, pronunciation and grammar in a single symbol. Meaning people will able to understand vocabulary even if they never heard of that word before because the logos it consists out of conveys the meaning to them.
It's one of the reasons why people that Use chinese characters score so high on mathematics and physics tests. The words for physics and mathematical concepts are written in logos that precisely explain the concept to you even if you never encountered the word before. Meaning Japanese, Chinese and Taiwanese have a huge legs up on Sciences due to how their language works. It will most likely replace phonetic writing due to these inherent benefits.
