Talented writers get attention by writing great works of art or writing sophisticated reports for top organizations. These fucks basically get paid depending on how well they are at getting clicks. If you already have talent out of the equation, what else is left there but clickbait? And it works. Be honest with me, when was the last time you clicked on something not for the content, but because of some weird quirk that caught your attention. For me it was yesterday.
