When I argue with anyone, it is rare that I can ever get anyone to change their mind on any ideas which they got from someone they like more than me. However, when I argue with republicans, at the end of some debate I can often force them into a final rebuttal of the form, "Yeah, I guess you've got a point there but logic is retarded." When I argue with democrats, they will rarely concede the existence of a point which contradicts the belief system they cling to. Republicans say, "Logic is retarded," but democrats say, "Facts don't exist."
