Hi /sci/, all of these growing "vlog YouTubers" that are famous for constantly flexing with there wealth are growing like crazy, and so I was thinking of why people (especially young teens) are so happy about watching some narcissistic pricks show of these wealth over and over again.
And I came upp with 2 hypothesis that I cannot test even though i would love too, but i thought I'd share my thoughts and see if anyone else found it possible or just dumb.
Hypothesis 1: young teens are subconsciously rewarded for watching these wealthy people because their brain thinks it can learn how to be rich like the vloggers from observing their behaviour and life styles.
Hypothesis 2: People may be watching vloggers in general because their brain thinks they are building a friendship with the youtuber and the reason wealthy YouTubers in general gain so much attention is because the brain rewards people for "making friends" with the wealthy youtubers because its increases their chance for survival.

Any thoughts?
