I'm a junior still struggling with pre-calculus and I can't even take my upper-division (Physical Chemistry and Biochemistry) courses without finishing calculus 1. I already have course credit for precalculus, but it's worthless when I'm so horrible with mathematics that I won't be able to succeed in Calculus 1; so, I decided to retake precalculus again, but I failed my second exam today. I left most of it blank, there wasn't even a single problem I knew how to solve completely. On the first exam, I got 63%. Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology? Easy, no problem. High school level mathematics? Might as well be sticking a knife into my dick. How the hell would I explain being a severe brainlet on my grad school applications that I'm failing a course I already passed before?
