hey /sci/ how would you simplify these current sources into one? I know how to do it if they are in parallel but there are those resistors in the way

The top branch has all the paths in common, it appears symmetric, so you can probably halve the circuit and double the values

yeah, but just like all reduction the resulting circuit isnt identical to the starting one, its just used for finding total power dissipated or whatever

a current source of i amps in one direction is the equivalent of a current source of -i amps in the other direction
so, assuming those sources are all i amps, the sum would be 2i + (-1i) = 1i amps
