If I'm right, a world of possibilities open up to me. Through the manipulation of the aether, so much can be accomplished, so many mysteries can be solved, and so many unknowns can be accounted for.
If you're right, you, me, and everyone we will ever know, is helplessly trapped in this gravity well. Each subject to a meat grinder of a machine that is engineered to extract from us all that we are able to give.
If you're right, then the universe is indeed out of our reach.
