I would like to learn chemistry, and I wish I had double majored but I'm 3 years into a math degree so it's a bit late for that.
Any advice on where to start? I haven't taken a chemistry class since 10th grade.

3 years into your 1st degree isn't too far in to take chemistry. You can take it twice if you need to. You can take intro to chem at your uni or at a CC. You can do post-baccaulaureate degrees and certificate programs or just sign up for the classes. You can do it over the summer or for either semester.

No, they aren't: Geopolitics, sociology, psychology, psychology, economics, criminology partnered with history, law, statistics and game theory can explain much of the shit happening in society today.

There's no minimalism in social sciences, unlike in natural sciences where we can reduce everything to atoms, by trying to single out a single characteristic of our study subjects we end up destroying them.
The best we can do is to find patterns and truths that are pertaining to all humans and societies even though they may be neutralized by other factors.
Just because 1+5-1= 5 that doesn't mean there wasn't a 1 and a -1 the equation before that.

those fields are extremely important, and they can explain what's happening in modern societies.
the problem is that what's being taught in those fields at the moment isn't helpful, and that's a real problem.
