But now that I have my degree (bachelor's or higher), it's interesting to see a different but nuanced perspective on mathematical construction and formalism. And you can't really appreciate what Wildberger is doing without a degree, for one thing, because his work is clearly incomplete, and for another, without the mathematical background do understand the precise definition of things he invents such as limits of rational polynumbers, you will end up with an inferior education. Just go through with the tried and true method of reading the popular textbooks, and when you come back in a few years, take a look at how Wildberger does it and think, "huh, that's a neat way of thinking of it. I could see how this could simplify things for a student. I can't wait for his next video!"
