its mostly all mental and people hype it up if youve never taken it by saying dumbshit and giving you a preconcieved notion of what its going to be so it gets in your head but generally all it really does is make you kind of hypersensitive
sometimes people arent able to handle the increased sensitivity and then they spiral in their own mind chasing thoughts which leads to the so called "bad trips"
aslong as you understand that you're on psychoactive shit and that youre pretty much stuck on that rollercoaster for atleast 12 hours and know that you have to handle your shit and be confident in your ability to handle your shit you should be fine aslong as you are being truthful to yourself (like seriously understanding yourself without any ego)
