1. You can't raise something to the power of infinity. It's completely meaningless. You can ask about the limit of (-1)^x as x approaches infinity, but that would obviously be zero since a number * 0 = 0.

2. Where the hell did you come up with -1 ? -1^inf ? 1?

3. You can't multiply an inequality by 0:
> x < 9
> x * 0 < 9 * 0
> 0 < 0
> therefore, 0 ? 0

You can show that for all n e N
-1*(1/n)<(-1)^n*0<1*(1/n)

Then you take the lim n to inf
As the lim sup of -1*(1/n) is 0
And as the lim inf of 1*(1/n) is 0
It follows that lim n to inf (-1)^n *0 must be 0 as it has only one convergency.
Tho I think you underestimate the infinity.

1. Off what infinity are you talking about? N R C C+{inf}
For N it might be easy but for anything else it will turn out much more complicated.
Considering it is in R your result will be undefined or in C...
You literally forgot to tell whats given. Whats your body and space and whatever.

(-1)^x * 0 = 0
