Attractiveness is the result of a combination of multiple variables. Even if we WERE able to actually alter it, changing one minor, subconsciously considered variable is basically meaningless.
Where we do see "sex pheromones" in nature, it's almost always the female that uses them. Even in the cases of male use, it's just to broadcast personal information.
