If scientists are trying to predict climate change by anthropogenic co2 wouldn't measuring in the troposphere be the best way to do that?
Why would surface or water temperatures even be relevant since they are also warmed by visible light by the sun? Wouldn't that totally skew what is actually causing the warming?
If anthropogenic c02 is the cause then why are the tropospheric prediction models so off compared to satellite and weather balloon data? Also how do you separate what is caused by clouds and what is caused by c02?
I know that co2 has had a greening effect over the last 35 years and more plants means more transpiration which means more clouds. Could it be that co2 itself is not a direct issue just the water vapor that forms as an indirect effect?
