Other anon got shit for saying he doesnt take notes, but neither do I for the most part (when reading textbook at least). I do have additional notes for stuff learned outside of textbook, but the way I learn is just by reading. Most of the subjects in science have some kind of logic to it, and the notes are often just explanations for stuff that is already intuitive if you know your shit. The only "notes" I have is when memorizing stuff like when I had to memorize SI units, or polyatomic ions etc. For math, the only notes was a page of theorems and formulas for quick access. Other than these general informations, I do not write notes in text/summary format. I do however plaster my textbooks with sticky notes and shit, I'll even fucking draw over them and tape shit to them. I dont plan on ever reselling, and I figure I really shouldn't give a shit about their appearance.
