Is there any sort of pragmatic guide for chemistry, meaning anything that tells you how to create certain compounds and perform chemical reactions without it being pure theory. To simplify, is there any guide that goes less like this:
1. Combine X and Y
2. Hydrolyze the combination
3. Apply it to a new compound
And more like this:
1. Get 2 grams of X
2. Mix it with 5 mililiters of Y and do it slowly
3. Put the mixed Y into Z
This is an oversimplification but you get the point. Does anything that is written, for the most part, like this exist? Thank you. Pic unrelated
