People who develop Crohns have immune systems which are so strong that they create fistulas; physical, large holes in their organs caused solely by the immune system. Their feces is against their many bleeding, deep ulcers in their colon, every day. Their immune systems are superhuman with such exposure. They need to use strong biologic medications to purposely weaken it.
