Yes, but the longer it stays in your body the more damage it causes. Iodide helps to accelerate that excretion.

Um. This is probably quite poisonous but I'll just assume you've done your research... Anyway, it's similar to any other amine salt. Freebase with NaOH solution (1M), extract with DCM or chloroform, add a little HI and stoichiometric I2 to oxidize to I3- and back extract with a small volume of water before drying down. Note this probably isn't stable for long either as it will turn to iodine and fuck with your thyroid.

It's many times your daily recommended intake of iodine even in single mg amounts and in the form of a molecule which will turn to I2 in your stomach which is even worse? Plus I3 is a radical oxidizer. Not saying that it's instant death but I can barely even find MSDS references for the LD50 values. It's sketch... Just get actual Benzedrine it's not hard to find and well understood.
