Eh whatever. I did poorly my first year and then became a straight a student after therapy and a lot of self reflection. Ended up taking an extra year, which gave me more time for research and the like. It worked out with going to a great grad school for research. Literally nobody cares as long as you have the fruits of your labor to show.

The therapy helped but it wasn’t because of that alone - but yes it’s the first step. Meds help a bit but they don’t change your life all the way through, and you’re trying to build to a place where you don’t need them.
