What is this "plan" you talk about? Can you elaborate? I don't think anybody choosing a major and doing their first two years of undergrand education has a "plan" and I doubt such as plan would be very helpful.

I smoked pot and had sex in high school. I took business math in community college, thought getting a 100 in a math class was weird, so I took precalc and then from there decided to major in math alongside ecology.

I think shes probably right. Math in high school is boring as fuck - literally just memorizing formulas and plugging numbers in. And when you learn Calculus there is no teaching of derivative methods and why they work - you are just told to memorize the process.

Same goes with Physics.
