Anyone here have experience an Indian Lab professor?

I’m taking my first semester of O-chem and despite doing exceedingly well in lab he seems to be a little uppity to me. Maybe I’m just being a little bitch, maybe he just wants me to succeed, I don’t know. Could it be a cultural thing? I just feel like he kind of talks to me like a dumbass.

Like today, when we were doing extractions we put our aqueous solvent in a hot bath after vacuum filtration instead of adding nitrogen-as said in our procedure.

I just asked for help with the oven because it wasn’t specified in the manual and he sorta flipped shit on me in front of everyone. He was just like: “I explained in da prelecta about da hot bath and you don’t have say in what PhD chemist write manual do for you”. It just makes me kinda sad cause I try really hard.
