Recently I was prescribed Ritalin/Methylphenidate, and I was wondering if anyone could answer this question.

Does taking this medication make me feel normal since middle school I had been diagnosed with ADD but I stopped taking my medication out of fear of social reasons in high school. Now that I've felt more comfortable taking medication I've had good experiences with getting work done and staying focused.

I was wondering if this is what normal non-add people feel when working and staying focused and doing work, or if this is just like taking a performance-enhancing drug giving me an unfair edge.
