I'm an EE with programming experience so I'm applying to both traditional engineering and software related jobs. This is what I've noticed so far. Let me know what you think


Pros of CS:
>Better base pay
>More in-demand

Cons of CS:
>CS internships, even at second-rate companies, have hundreds or thousands of applicants
>CS interviews are much more difficult
>CS jobs are in urban areas where the cost of living is through the roof and it's much harder to have kids or a house
