It's a hella general feeling, and this is only anecdotal but you can search for 'dysphoria' on any TG forum (say, reddit) and gleam from it that the descriptor is hella vague. There's so many different accounts of dysphoria. Hell, by some accounts one could be dysphoric about having a small penis.
"Gender" is vague, "sexuality" is vague and "dysporia" as defined as an "uncomfortable misalignment" with one'd gender is also very vague. The subjective nature of experiences across transgender individuals seem to leave one with no choice but to accept the indeterminacy as fact, as represented in the gendrer affirmative approach with informed consent and whatnot. To me affirmative approach looks like something along the lines of
>Okay so we know you feel 'x' way and we don't really know why you feel x way but we'll let you go ahead and deal with the symptomsIt's like prescribing painkillers to someone with a rare painful disease.

Who the fuck knows, here, take these pills to make the hurt go away.I suspect the recent increase in detransitioners has to do with this issue not being properly studied and dealt with, as its a sensitive topic + experiences differing largely over a small population makes it naturally hard to study.
