What are some applications of Ramsey Theory?
I recently talked to a professor about research opportunities and this is one of the major fields he focuses on.
He showed me an open problem he wants me to focus on and I find it interesting, but don't know if I'm truly motivated to do it.
Are there "real world" applications for Ramsey theory?
