A superposition contains way more information than a mere momentum and position value, and is way more computationally expensive to propagate through time. This would never arise naturally in the context of programming.
Take the double slit experiment. The observed interference is so much more complicated than just doing lazy evaluation on the trajectory of a single electron. Why the hell would the programmer make the electron interfere with itself if he was just trying to save on memory and cycles?
