Do you think water vapor that exists stomata takes residues from spraying with it or how giving only water removes residue outside tissue?
How do you and growers you know dial in your nutrient regime? Do you give minimal dose of nutrients and make dose higher if you see signs of deficiency or higher dose and lower dose if you see nutrient poisoning? I bet it is the later.
I know it is widely accepted as truth that flushing is needed with inorganic nutrients. It might be needed only because growers try to give as big dose of nutrients as possible without signs of nutrient poisoning in hope of higher yield. Also nutrient recommendations from nutrient companies are higher than necessary because more nutrients used means more money for company.
Do you think flushing is necessary even in proper organic soil?
Experiment I mentioned was done with hydro grown weed. I don't remember exact EC value as I was not the grower. I think it was less than 2.0 for whole grow. Grower said that it was important to not make EC too high in any point of the grow or it will affect smoking experience negatively.
How do you explain result?
I have theory for it. Harshness of smoke does not rise right after EC is higher than 0 but later. Reason being that when you give lower dose of nutrients they are used to do what ever they do in tissue and do not accumulate in tissue as salts like with high dose of nutrients.
In picture I attached you see two graph. Y-axis is harshness of smoke and X-axis is EC. I bet graph B is closer to truth than graph A.
